Mail Movers offers 36-, 60-, and 63-month lease terms. Your monthly lease includes the postage meter, service, and automatic USPS postage rate updates.
Meter vs. stamps
USPS rates effective July 12, 2026: a 1 oz letter is $0.82 with a stamp and $0.78 metered, saving $0.04 per letter.
At $0.04 saved per metered letter, mailing 1,000 letters a month covers the cost of an iX-1 lease from the postage discount alone.

Should I lease, rent, or buy a postage meter?
Leasing: one monthly payment covers the machine, postage meter, service, and postage rate updates. Renting: available for the iX-1 only, at $32/month on a 12-month term, including the postage meter. Rentals are self-service, so on-site service isn't included — choose a lease if you want service covered. Buying: if you buy a machine outright, you'll still pay a separate monthly fee for the postage meter itself.

Can I switch from another brand?
Mail Movers services Quadient equipment and older Neopost equipment, including IS-series meters. We do not service other brands, but we can help you switch to Quadient.
