Use this page to view and approve your print proof before we begin production. Proof approval is a critical step in the direct mail process — it's your final opportunity to check spelling, layout, images, and data merge before your job goes to press.
How Proof Approval Works
- Receive your proof link: Your Mail Movers project manager will email you a link to view your proof online.
- Review carefully: Check all text, images, colors, and variable data fields. Verify addresses and personalization are merging correctly.
- Approve or request changes: If everything looks correct, approve the proof. If changes are needed, note them and we'll revise.
- Production begins: Once approved, your job enters the print queue. Standard turnaround begins from the approval date.
What to Check on Your Proof
- Spelling and grammar: Read every word carefully. Spell-check doesn't catch everything.
- Contact information: Verify phone numbers, email addresses, and website URLs.
- Dates and times: Confirm all event dates, deadlines, and hours of operation.
- Images and logos: Ensure correct images are placed and logos are current versions.
- Variable data: If using personalization, verify that names, addresses, and custom fields are merging correctly.
- USPS compliance: Our team handles this, but verify the address panel and barcode areas are clear.
Important Notes
- Colors on screen may vary slightly from printed output due to monitor calibration differences.
- Once approved, changes cannot be made without reprinting (additional charges may apply).
- Proofs expire after 30 days. Contact your project manager if you need an extension.
